Gifts to the Campaign will be acknowledged.
We hope that by publicly recognizing gifts, we can express our appreciation and let the community know who is helping to bring this project to life. As well, by sharing our donors names and gift amounts, other potential donors may be encouraged to join in the giving. This often serves to raise people’s awareness of giving, build lasting relationships, and excite others around their own philanthropy.
- Income Tax receipt if applicable for gifts over $20 will be issued within 10 business days.
- Donations made online, including through the Community Foundation North Okanagan will receive an email acknowledgement of receipt.
- Donations may also be recognized in our newsletter, on social media, in traditional media.
- Donations shall be recognized on the together4Culture.ca website which will be updated every 2 -3 months.
- Lasting recognition ranging from commemorative certificate or plaque, name on donor wall or on a facility room.
Donors may request additional public recognition or decline public recognition.
Levels of Giving and Recognition Opportunities
Your generous contributions to the Greater Vernon Cultural Centre are essential to ensuring that this project is successful. We wish to recognize donors to express our gratitude for your commitment, offering individuals, families, organization, and business recognition as well as naming opportunities that enable you to honour a friend or family member with a named or endowed gift.
$20 – $499 Supporters will be recognized on the website at the Supporter level.
$500 – $1,499 Friends will be listed on the website and recognized in exterior mosaics or other art installations at the Friend level.
Partners will be recognized in the Donor Hall of Fame on the website and on the Donor Wall at the Partner level.
- Bronze $1,500 – $2,499
- Silver $2,500 – $4,999
- Gold $5,000 – $9,999
- Platinum $10,000 – $99,000
$100,000 – $499,999 Champions will be recognized in the Donor Hall of Fame on the website and on the Donor Wall at the Champion level.
Gifts $250,000+ may have other interior recognition on a case-by-case basis (ex. space naming). Champions will also receive a commemorative plaque to be presented at the Grand Opening Gala, and two invitations to the Grand Opening Gala.
$500,000 + Visionaries will be recognized in the Donor Hall of Fame on the website with a link to a featured Donor Profile. Visionaries will be recognized on the Donor Wall at the Visionary level, and recognition may also include other interior recognition on a case-by-case basis (ex. space naming). Visionaries will receive a commemorative plaque to be presented at the Grand Opening Gala and four invitations to the Grand Opening Gala.
ANONYMITY
Donors wishing to remain anonymous will be respected; however, donors must indicate their wish to remain anonymous at the time of donation.
DONATION VALUE
Recognition will be based on the indicated cumulative donation and will be recognized in the year it has been achieved or formally pledged.
WITHDRAWAL OR REFUSAL OF RECOGNITION
The RDNO Board of Directors reserves the right to withdraw recognition and naming agreements if it determines that doing so is in the best interests of the project.
In addition, the RDNO Board of Directors (or their designate) must approve the recognition wording and may refuse the recognition opportunity if the Taskforce and the donor are unable to agree on appropriate wording.
